Kerstin, the adjoining neighbour to Kerrick, successfully adds double-storey extension to a heritage-listed building in Fitzroy. The design response pursues a balance between contemporary aesthetics and contextual sensitivity. Inspired by the existing roof form of the original dwelling, the extension features striking yet simple geometries that harmonise with the heritage setting.
